The Vector 3D current meter collects high-resolution

Based on processing schemes originally developed for
the Nortek Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter, the system
electronics integrates unique Doppler velocity measurements
with standard sensors such as temperature, pressure,
tilt, and compass. |
State-of-the-art
power management and miniaturized electronics combine
in a compact single-canister design that is suitable
for real time operation or self-contained deployments.
The Vector supports burst sampling, where data are sampled
rapidly for a short period of time before it "sleeps"
to preserve battery power and recorder memory. The Vector
samples pressure at the same time as the 3D velocity. |

The Aquadopp Profiler is an inexpensive tool for shallow
water measurements on time scales larger than 1 second.
It gives you speed and direction in up to 128 different

With the Nortek AWAC, you get a current profiler and
a wave directional system in one unit. You can measure
the current speed and direction in 1-m thick layers
from the bottom to the surface and you can measure long
waves, storm waves, short wind waves, or transient waves

generated by local
ship traffic. The 1MHz AWAC is designed as a coastal
monitoring system. It is small, rugged, and suitable
for multi-year operation in tough environments. It can
